Maybe a solution with Fusion Standalone?
No idea if it suits you? If is your need ? You have to Try:
1- node text+ with you textz + scrool effect (see Layout => Center => Y and keyframe)
2- Node Resize multiply by 2 height + width
3- Node Fields node => interlace (divide by 2 resize)
4- Node saver => QT => Prores 4444 XQ + Save Alpha
It must be Fusion Studio I think?
Attention: it is necessary to verify that the duration of the composition = 2 times the duration of the scrool (2 frames per image) => open the Spline Editor.
In short: nothing simple ...
