BMPCC4K broken screen glass

Yupe it happened
one of our Pocket 4K broken glass

the screen still works , touch screen too
3 nice cracks and one chip in the screen

Can we replace the glass only or we need to replace the whole screen ?

Ship the camera all the way down to California and loose it for several weeks
or pray that they will sell me a replacement screen

BTW I'm an electronic tech by trade with 30+ years in the field I think I can replace a screen ... if I could get it

What was the cost te get it repaired?

I broke the screen to my Pocket 4K doing that damn Tilta tilt mod- based on what I’m hearing here, I assume Blackmagic isn’t going to offer me the ability to buy a new screen, and of course they aren’t going to install one on my new tilt setup... why can’t you sell a part to me?? I’m going to have to go on AliExpress now and buy some crappy knockoff and just hope it works?

I mean, you didn' t have to tinker with your product and break it in the process? What are you expecting from BM?

Yeah, I definitely didn’t need to tinker with it, I know it’s my fault.
Anyway, Blackmagic has been awesome and it’s been taken care of since I last wrote.

I have the exact same problem. Lcd is not working anymore.
I was wondering how Blackmagic helped you.
The camera is highly modded and i suspect the flatcable is broken, wich results in a non functioning screen. On startup i only have backlight but no image on screen.
