Fatal Fusion Page Crash in 16.1.0B.033

PostTue Oct 15, 2019 10:23 pm

I was working on a clip for a week with particle systems, layers.

I had backups but the clip itself suddenly is crashing DR. I had to delete it.

Is there any way resurrect the work in that clip. I still have the crashing project DB and can replicate crash at will.

Is it possible the next beta will fix this so I don't have to duplicate all the work I did from memory?

Diag logs (note crashes on 10/14/2019) attached.

I would like to check if you can currently open the project, and if the crash happens when you select a specific clip or comp or do a specific action.

Are there any OpenFX plugins in the comp? If you're able to open the comp, does disabling the OpenFX plugin as a workaround make a difference w.r.t crashing?

If you run into this issue again, could you grab the log archive immediately after? A project export (drp file) would help too.

THe DRP :

crash diag zip file is attached.

To answer your questions:

1. I can open the project.

2. If I select the clip called "20190608_[141542-141542].jpg" DR instantly crashes. Therefore, I cannot open the comp.

3. They were no OpenFX plugins in the comp I recall using

Can you try and help me resurrect the clip? I can shelve the effort and wait for a bug fix if you can identify it as such.
