I'm testing on some HDR sample to convert it to SDR. I'm using the HDR 1000 nits to Gamma 2.4 lut which handles the color conversion well, except for the whites, which are clipping.
How do I fix this? Is there a way to edit the lut? Or does some one can share a custom lut based on the lut I used?
I'm new to this, so don't be harsh.

I realize this is an old thread, but I'm attempting to do the same thing. Is there anymore insight on the topic, especially now that we are on version 16?

In principle the answer is no because the color-managed mode automatically transforms the gamut. But it assumes you manually color grade and detect and correct when colors go out of gamut.
If, however, you want to make sure your colors do not go out of gamut and/or you grade more or less autopilot then you could enable it.
