How do you identify the clip a Still came from?

and is it possible to export stills with clip name instead of the naming format resolve uses which is 1.1.1 etc? I don't understand this naming convention, but would love to know which of the hundreds of clips the stills came from because I forgot

You can label the still and then use that label in the still export. Right click on the still to investigate

In Project Settings->General Options->Color, you can check "Automatically label gallery stills using..", then there's a whole host of options, including clip name.
