Improve graph editor functionality

PostSun Jan 26, 2020 4:26 am

Doing ken burns on high-resolution images in Resolve's edit page is really quite cumbersome. I mean, does this look like a reasonable value range for the graph editor?

It seems the editor values are based on the resolution of the asset, which is obviously problematic when dealing with large images.

Primarily, the issues are getting nice ease in and ease out, and custom ease in/out for doing pan and scan movements is very difficult.

Dynamic zoom just doesnt work very well on image and really needs some additional options such as 'scale to timeline aspect ratio'.

+1. Just following you around adding my 2 cents. :)

Tons of old posts about this and keyframing in general. There have even been several attempts by BM to improve the easing behavior (maybe it's a little bit better) so it's a recognized problem. Maybe next version?
