Davinci stays in background after closing

Almost every single time I have to kill the process for Resolve. It won't close. Is anyone else experiencing this and know how to fix it?

It happens to me on occasion. I've seen several reports from others.

Same here (Mac), especially when stopping a render job.

Can someone from BM Support please answer and let us know that this bug is being worked on please?

What NVIDIA driver are u using?

Studio 441.66 for me.

One pattern I noticed is that when a project gets "stuck" in memory, it's always the second to last project I had open.

So if I work on A, switch to B, then close Resolve (or get a crash), it's Project A that's still running in Task Manager, even though B was the open project during the Close (or crash).

Thanks for responding Peter. I have gone through a bunch of different versions in including Studio 431.86. I just did a clean install of windows and it's still happening. I am on version 26.21.14.3111.

I can confirm this, it happens on linux too. I've already made a script for myself to kill resolve qucikly.

Alot of people are having this issue, including me.
Im on windows 10, used different drivers, different resolve versions, different windows versions, different systems. Reinstalled resolve a bunch of times but the bug never went away.

Same here. I’m on win10 1909. Was like this in november and is so after last update. This is DVR 16.1.2 Studio.

I use Amd vii gpu with amd CPU 64ram m2 disks and I have issues off hang very randomly and if i switch a lot from fusion to color and to edit....
