Studio Camera 4K - SDI output suddenly not working

Hi all,

All of a sudden we can't seem to get an output from one of our four cameras - nothing has changed, no settings, no cables, and there's no signal from one of the cameras. SDI IN also appears to be not working, because the tally light has stopped responding when we cut to that camera.

Yesterday, all four cameras were working.

Today:
Camera 1: No image, no sound being detected in the control room.
Cameras 2-4 fine.

Tried moving Camera 1 to camera 2's position, and swapping cables, still no image, so it's not the cable.
Unplugged everything from camera 1 and camera three, swapped them over, now the 'new' camera 1 is working and the 'new' camera 3 is not working, so it's something wrong with the camera itself.

The screen on the camera itself is still working, no problem, but no output and no tally light on the return.

Any ideas?

Hello Tom. If you want to test the output of your camera, simply connect the output to the input with the camera set to Internal Reference. You should easily see the camera in the screen when you push PGM button. If you see the camera correctly, then the issue will be that the camera Resolution or frame rate does not match the ATEM. If you do not see the camera with this test, then probably contacting Support in your region may help.

If you get a replacement try and hold on to the old one for parts.

Supplier took back the old one, BMD sent out an entirely brand new unit.
