Finally got my rig together

PostWed Sep 19, 2012 9:47 am

The JuicedLink Riggy just arrived, so I finally got my rig together.

BeBob cage and dovetail plate, Crosziel Matebox, Lanparte V-Mount plate, TVLogic monitor and the Juiced Link Riggy.

is it have some sense to buy BMC if you have lenses like angenieux? imho it like to put on Tatra (indian car for $500) 19' VOLK pro sport titanium rims. why not red epic?

Looks great Frank. That Optimo is a lovely lens. Look forward to seeing the images off the BMCC with it.

Frank,

First... stunning rig there.. Very nice!

You clearly use an external monitor - I have no experience of these...

Are they clearly visible in daylight or were you shading your hands over it to get a view of the screen?

I'm just wondering about a bit of velco and black material attached to the BMCC hood - like a step back to an 19Century stills camera???

Any thoughts on monitors or evf's - or is it down to good old "you get what you pay for."

regrds

SK..

You want an external monitor with the BMC - I have a TVLogic and really like it.
Some guys prefer EVF, but I'm a monitor guy. Depends on your preference. EVF is better in sunlight.

I did not buy that Optimo. These are the things you rent. The Optimo zoom is a perfect glass for the BMC, and Tatra is not Indian, it's Tata.
