BMCC format?

I have a technical question since BMCC become even more interesting since price drop and it's now available in stores. (I pre-ordered a BMPCC).

BMPCC is in Super 16mm format.
BM4kPCC is in Super 35mm format.

But in what format is BMCC?

I don't believe it has a corresponding film format like S16 and 35mm cinema film. It is smaller than the sensor on micro four-thirds cameras and larger than S16. You can see the dimensions of the active sensor area on BMD's Tech Specs tab for the camera, 15.81mm x 8.88mm, delivering video in a 16:9 aspect ratio.

BMCC's crop factor to s35 is by 1.6
BMPCC's crop factor to s35 is by 2

so it's a little inbetween

This Abelcine FOV test is exellent! But it's scares me, BMCC is like turning a binocular around and view it the opposite way compared to 5D
