Camera Specific Sub-Forum

PostTue Aug 27, 2013 9:37 pm

Not sure if its been mentioned yet, but maybe its time for camera specific forums here....

All the pocket cam and 4k cam stuff is great, but tough to weed through for bmcc info

good point, camera's sub-forums would be great and easy to navigate.
+1 on that idea.

Although do consider the dilemma of overlapping features.

EF lens related posts can be for the 4K and the EF version of the BMCC.

MFT lens related post can be for the MFT version of the BMCC and the BMPCC except when relating to active mount related functions which are only for the BMPCC

Since the BMCC and 4K have the exact same bodies many of the accessories one might buy would work for both.

Certain Camera Support accessories might work for all the above despite the BMPCC being smaller.

All the cameras may have the same firmware in very short order as well.

Some people are also following posts that involve comparisons as they make purchasing decisions.

Or perhaps a way to filter out other cameras if its not already available? I actually love knowing what's going on with other cameras but it may be a nice thing to do now and then.

Create camera-specific sub-forums, and keep the more general topics in the cinematography forum as before. I'd really appreciate that.
