SSD disk Lacie

PostMon Sep 02, 2013 3:06 pm

Hi,
I have a LaCie Rugged Thunderbolt&USB 3.0 1TB
I just recorded a few minutes with the blackmagik 2.5K, and when I extracted it from the camera it was very hot.
Is this normal with the other SSD marks? Can it be a problem or damage the camera?
ThanksYou

This is normal. SSDs get how when reading and writing data. In the camera it is writing a lot of data so it gets very how. Sometimes almost to hot to hold.

Nothing wrong with it.

I don't understand, as far as I know, LaCie doesn't make internal SSD drives?
