For my application, I need to convert HDMI to composite video for use on an RC heli.
I have tried a few converters that work on all my other cameras, but the pocket cam will not display at first. When I "prime" the converter with a working signal, then plug the pocket cam in, the picture is greatly cutoff and squeezed. I mean that I see about 1/4 of the image.
I have tried two different cables. I have tried different displays.
The camera will display *close* to correctly plugged directly into a TV, but the status display is cutoff at the edges.
Any Ideas what could cause this or fix this?
This could be a really popular camera for aerial shooting, but not being able to get an image down to the ground makes it a no-go.
Here's one of the converters I tried, and has worked with other cameras for the last year.
