Announcing ATEM Studio Converter 2

Blackmagic Design today announced ATEM Studio Converter 2, a new model of its popular ATEM Studio Converter product with enhanced talkback features, upgraded design and the addition of 6G-SDI support allowing support for Ultra HD video when 6G optical fiber modules become available. ATEM Studio Converter will retail for the same price as the old model, at only US$1,995.

ATEM Studio Converter 2 will be demonstrated on the Blackmagic Design NAB 2013 booth at #SL218.

DEATHLY SILENCE.......

Now it says "shipping June" - but doesn't say which year. Is this another monthly countdown?... as I have the complete ATEM setup now, minus tally/talkback and I have had the unit on order since NAB.

Somebody help me!

I've been told we've started shipping these out and the resellers should be seeing them soon.

Just got mine yesterday (ordered it end of July, but in Melbourne so less shipping time than Sydney? As goes from BM to NewMagic then Oz resellers)

WHAT? REALLY??? So I order mine in early April and am still waiting and you ordered yours end of July and got it already?!?

Oh ok I see, you mean you ordered yours July 2012... I understand now. So I just gotta wait another 10 months. Hmmmmm....

No, you were right the first time, ordered end of June 2013 (sorry got my dates mixed up!), Arrived september; was originally sent an original ATEM

Well its all good here now. Not long after I posted the last message here mine also turned up so you were right about the closeness of Melbourne to the heart of BMD land!

I just wish I wasn't kept in the dark regarding delivery.
