He's currently at IBC which could be the reason you haven't received a response. I can't really speak as to the banding you're witnessing because I haven't any hands on time with the camera myself which is why I would suggest calling the support people first and seeing what they would suggest. Also, maybe check the new firmware update to see if that could correct it. As of now, those are my best suggestions.
