Shoulder rig balance?

Maybe a stupid question, I wondered when using a shoulder rig with a BMCC, like the Shape rig that I have, where should be the ideal centre of gravity?

It seems most BMCC + shoulder rigs are front heavy, I'm guessing from seeing other people's pics 'cause the camera and accessories like sound adaptor, EVF are in front. But where should the point of balance be, exactly other the shoulder or further forward?

I like mine a little bit back from the center of my shoulder. But this is really a personal preference thing. What is most comfortable for you.
I know I really don't want it in front of my shoulder as then all the weight goes down to my fore-arms.

I don't have my 4K yet but I have a new Lanparte VMS01 which is adjustable but balances on the shoulder.
It mounts onto a Sony baseplate, ENG style which I like.
Really well designed and made.
It has 2 stages so can be lifted to shoulder mount or off Vmount for hand held.

I have my Bebob Lite Gage And biggest battery they had the 190 one.

It is relatively center balanced on shoulder and sits really well.

Actually the whole setup feels liter than the cam by it self handheld.

Never considered putting the weight slightly back from centre of the shoulder. I've just put in an order for a Tilta Pro V-lock and I'll see if I can do the same. I already have a large brick styled shoulder pad that helps to keep the back end firmly down on the shoulder.
