BMPC RAW workflow

PostTue Nov 12, 2013 10:01 pm

I am trying to figure out the best post workflow for BMPC. I really like the ease of stand alone Film Convert and the prores seems to take a grade really well. (Especially compared to the Canon files I am used to.)

From RAW I used adobe camera RAW to create some tifs then a quicktime file but the .mov was much less gradable in film convert then the pocket prores files I had been using before the RAW update. They were very gradeable in adobe camera RAW but again would rather grade a whole clip not a single frame and apply it globaly.

I don't have premiere 7 ( have 6).

Why not try using DaVinci Resolve. You can even run the FilmConvert plugin from with in Resolve 10.

I can't wait for Neat Video to work with Resolve, although if the 4k Camera is ever released i'll get the full version of resolve and use the built in reduction

Can't you use the OFX version with Resolve?
