I doubt they are ignoring it but sometimes bug-finding/fixing can be the devil's work
First you have to be able to duplicate the bug (and sometimes that in and of itself can be nearly impossible if it's a strange combination of hardware, OS and other tasks running on the computer), then you've got to track down the cause and (finally) come up with a fix that solves the problem without breaking anything else in the process.
This all takes time and can be incredibly frustrating (yes, I used to be a software engineer in a previous life)
Resolve 18.1 Studio, Fusion 9 Studio CPU: i7 8700, OS: Windows 10 32GB RAM, GPU: RTX3060 I'm refugee from Sony Vegas slicing video for my YouTube channels.
I almost never use cached clips and i mostly work with REDRAW, some XAVCS4K and frame sequences like DPX,EXR,TIFFs and TGAs? Maybe some other video formats cause this issue.
I hope they will fix it soon for all you guys that have this problem. It would drive me crazy.

Its not limited to cached files. but it happens to color corrected clips only. The clips which doesn't have any color correction applied are not affected. So if you do not use color tab, then no flicker.
