Resolve 15.2.2 Hangs on 57% - Saves Slow

PostFri Jan 18, 2019 12:32 am

Hey all,

Resolve 15.2.2 hangs on 67% when loading projects for quite a long time, and then when auto saving or manually saving, it can take over a minute with the pinwheel going the whole time.

MacOSX 10.14.2
iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)
4 GHz Intel Core i7
32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4096 MB

Micro Panel fw: 1.2.1

Any ideas or leads? Thanks!

That sounds like a possible storage media problem. Is your SSD or spinner nearly full? If a spinner, it may be on the way out. Time to make sure you have a back-up.

hmm, I've got an SSD drive and there's 250gb free... I've made sure i'm updated all around and interestingly, after updating my desktop video software, it now pauses at 0% when saving instead of 67%.

When i'm booting up Resolve, it gets stuck owhen it says "Ready" for about 2-3 minutes.

Not really sure what to try next, really.
