Thanks, Florent. Those are three I’ll need too. Still wondering though if I should go for the whole cage for use handheld or on a tripod. Maybe a good idea to play it safe since the whole cage can be used as a half cage if I find that’s sufficient.

I got the half cage because I really like the grip on the Pocket and to be honest after using on jobs I don't feel the need for the full cage. The cage actually adds quite a bit of weight and bulk when shooting handheld. The half cage also covers pretty much the whole bottom of the camera for mounting points too :)

Totally agree, I'm using the half cage as well and there are enough mounting points for anything you need + less weight, less bulky and easier access to all the buttons on the right side of the camera.

Is there room with the Small Rig half cage to mount the Wise SSD and Sennheiser 416MKH shotgun both on the top via cold shoe mounts?

There is only 1 cold shoe mount on the half cage but I believe you can mount the Wise SSD on any other threaded 1/4″-20 hole on the cage with the mount that comes with the hard drive...
I managed to put a Sennheiser lav receiver (cold shoe mount) + Samsung T5 SSD + extra battery (Juicebox Magic Power, which I highly recommend) + cables clamp + 7" monitor + side handle on the half cage.

Okay, looks like the half-cage will suffice. Merci.

I use the 2203 Smallrig full cage because I have a wireless EF Focus/Aperture handle for my Aputure DEC Lensregain Canon EF to MFT focal reducer that only mounts to a rosette on the right. I needed a SmallRig Handgrip Rosette Adapter for Sony FS7 and FS7II ARRI Standard Rosette 31.8mm - 1887, plus a NICEYRIG NATO Clamp with Nato Rail 1/4" 3/8" Screw Holes Quick Release Plate Camera Rig for LED Video Light Monitor Microphone w rail to get it to fit.

I plan on removing these mounts and using them on a gimbal so I can focus without touching the lens.

I tried using the SmallRig Cold Shoe Mount Extension Adapter DSLR Camera Shoe Mount for Microphone, Flash Light and Camera Accessories 2044 but it is poorly designed and nothing fits it since it is too tight.

One of the most convenient accessories is a Magicrig or Smallrig NATO handle. It makes the camera much easier to maneuver and breaks down in seconds.

I mount a USB powered 5W 16cm diameter dimmable bi-color Mini LED Ring Light to the end of it and adjust the length with one or two Smallrig 15mm Micro Rods with 1/4" to 3/8" Male Thumb Screw, 1.5" 1624. The rods are only necessary if the handle's adjustability is constrained by a cheese plate with a V-Mount battery or a Sony NP-F battery adapter plate mounted to the cage.
