Our aim is to have a friendly and respectful forum for Blackmagic Design customers to assist each other with ideas, technical advice and discussions on creativity. To ensure the forums stay friendly and respectful, we ask you to agree to the following terms.
By accessing “Blackmagic Forum” (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Blackmagic Forum”, “https://forum.blackmagicdesign.com”), you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use “Blackmagic Forum”.
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “Blackmagic Forum” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Blackmagic Forum” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, neither “Blackmagic Forum” nor phpBB shall be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
You agree to use your real name as your user name when registering, including your location and job title if applicable. We believe people who post under their own name will be more respectful of others when posting as opposed to posting anonymously.
You agree that the "Blackmagic Forum" is for all levels of creative users and professionals who work in film and video production. Further, you agree to welcome discussions from first time videographers as well as the highest level film professionals.
You agree to not include vendor, other industry forums, resellers and sales/service company URLs in your posts.
You agree that “Blackmagic Forum” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit.
You agree that the Blackmagic Forum is for the discussion of Blackmagic Design products. Discussions regarding other vendor’s products that are not part of a general discussion including Blackmagic Design products are not allowed and should be brought to other, more general industry forums. This will help ensure the forum and discussions cannot be hijacked by product vs product conflict.
You agree that you are not a representative of another technology product vendor who works in the film and television industry. In that case, you agree to contact Blackmagic Design to confirm approval to joining the forum before registering.
You agree that the Blackmagic Forum is not a sales forum, and there will be no selling of products on the forum. The announcements section can be used for third party product announcements by contacting Blackmagic Design to have your news posted.
You agree not to send posts to more than one forum at a time.
As a user you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. Blackmagic Design may change these terms at any time and we will do our utmost to inform you. However it would be prudent for you to review terms regularly as your continued usage of “Blackmagic Forum” after changes are made mean that you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.
