Media Import XML - Definition?

Hi there, I couldn't yet find the information, so I ask.

I am researching a method to import media into resolve from a MAM/SAAS system (Iconik.io). Potentially we can develope a funtion there to create an according XML and CSV file. Now I am looking for the clean information, how the corresponding XML should like for Resolve, so that I get best result.

XML is just a language. Different NLEs use different XML input or output, but that language can be used for other purposes too.
Maybe it helps if you set up a very simple project in DR and export the timeline as an XML.
It is (more or less) human readable.
