Camera software 7.9.1

PostMon Aug 15, 2022 11:06 pm

I can't format my T5 SSDs with this new update. It is impossible to select/highlight the SSD on the list. I am a documentarist and have to format in the field when needed, Any solution for this?

BMPCC 6k pro with Tilta usb cable and ssd cage. It never failed before...

I've shooted more than 40 TB with T5s and Tilta cage/cable, with my 2 BMPCC 6K and never missed a frame,

It worked fine before the update.

I have the same problem. I can't find the format command. To select the SSD, I click on USB, but that is as far as it goes. Your help will be appreciated.

Knock on wood… I never had a problem with T5 on either the Pocket 6K or URSA mini pro 4.6K G2. I use the Kondor Blue cable.

I also use a Kondor Blue cable, but I can't find the Format command anywhere.

I'm still on 7.9. Has this changed, from what I'm showing here?

When having difficulties, one of the easiest steps you can try is upgrading to the latest firmware that applies to the camera ergo 7.9.1.

NB: my advice here does not apply to updating the iPhone 14 Pro camera which should avoid the latest update apparently until Apple does another hasty release and early adopters approve the results. My new phone should be coming this month, but I’m not going to use it until they have a stable release. Long live the iPhone 7 Plus. Works fine if I charge it three times a day.

The same problem has just presented itself to me regarding the usb ssd card. My Pocket 6k Pro will no longer allow me to format the card... the screen simply does not allow the format button to work... it sees the ssd and it records fine but will not allow format to happen. It has worked fine for months... BUT as far as I know it is not connected to the update. I did the update and it still worked for several times after that update... So?

So for now I format on my Mac... but would like to get the function back onto the camera.
