Blackmagic RAW SDK - custom reader

Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked before, I did search but couldn't find anything.

I need to implement a Blackmagic RAW decoder for our transcoder using the SDK, but one of my requirements is that our customer's .braw files are located on Amazon S3 storage, and they don't want to have to download them before transcoding. We have a custom reader that allows direct reading from remote storage, but I can't seem to find a way that the SDK can be used to override the default reader, which appears to be only able to read from local storage.
