Blackmagic Raw 1.5.1 Adobe Plugin Priority Mess

PostSat Oct 26, 2019 9:11 am

Hi,

In the 1.5.1 update the BRAW 1.5.1 plugin is taking priority over all others plugins (priority flag at maximum, whereas it wasn't at max in 1.5), including our plugin BRAW Studio

The result is that people who were already using BRAW Studio are now forced to switch to Blackmagic RAW plugin even though there is no clear, automatic and painless upgrade path. So projects are broken unless users know about it and uninstall only the Adobe plugin, which isn't straightforward to do for them. So Premiere Pro projects are broken, users will loose a lot of time dealing with this and on top of that if they save their PPro projects they could indefinitely loose their BRAW color grade...

Why did you do this ? Are you going to revert it in the next update ? It would be great to provide choice and compatibility to your Adobe user base

Thanks

Now comes with a brand new Source Settings Panel (like Lumetri) with batch modifications and others cool features ! youtube.com/watch?v=w4REl_U8K6c
