Upload media instantly to Media Palyer

PostThu Jan 02, 2020 1:57 pm

Hi,

I was looking for a solution to put my automatically generated scoreboard png to the ATEM without wasting an extra input and Upstream Keyer on the ATEM. The .png file is located on my server.

I can write a script to get the image from the server on my local PC. Now I'm looking for a solution to get the png file from my local PC to the ATEM Media player and instantly playing back the file. I can use every kind of JavaScript oder PHP, if there is no solution using one of the languages, I can also try to use C++.
But using JS together with a HTML UI would be nice.

Is that possible and do you have any example how to do it?

Thanks for your help!

Hi Max,

The ATEM Switchers SDK support development with C++, but also with C#. There is no support for JS.

We provide a sample in the Switchers SDK - SwitcherMediaPool, that supports uploading TGA image to the switcher. You can use this sample as a base to adapt to PNG image, two libraries you could use are libpng, or with the .NET System.Drawing.Imaging class.

Regards
Cameron
