VideoAssist 12G HDR - API / SDK?

Is there a way to connect to the new video assist to control record, stop / start, list files, etc via command line over either cabled or wireless connection, or is it manual control only?

Nope.. There is not even a physical connection to communicate with the VA 12G.

The Lanc does only start stop. The Usb-C is for recording to an external disk and FW updates.

It's not a Hyperdeck recorder!!!

Then you need to buy a Hyperdeck Extreme 8K HDR. That does has a Network connection and full set of commands to get what you want. ;)
