Information about initialisation of OFX Plugins under Linux

PostTue Mar 31, 2020 3:52 am

I have been developing Rotobot OpenFX plugin for some time now.

There is an outstanding issue that the Linux version of the software loads and functions without issue under DaVinci Resolve.

But give an less than useful message when initialising under Fusion Studio.

If the bug is on me, I am happy to work around it.

I am unable to see if there are missing symbols or a segmentation fault or anything.

I just get the text on the pop up windows to say the plugin did not load then nothing.

As the software runs perfectly fine under Blackmagic Design's own product DaVinci Resolve and the product also works on Flame, Nuke and Natron using the identical binary and runtime environment on the same CentOS 7.6 machine.

I am at a loss of what to do.

Sam
