Seems to be fixed in BRAW API version 1.8.1 too. Would be great to write this in the changelog !

Windows 10 does not display previews of Braw files (6K 50P) no thumbnails on Windows 10. I do not want to reinstall Windows. Help me with my problem.

(Blackmagic_Camera_Setup_Windows_7.0)

The last version with thumbnails in win10 was with bm raw 1.61 in my machine.

As said earlier you need ton install Blackmagic RAW v1.8.1

If you don't know how to get it, we have a checkbox in our installer here : https://autokroma.com/BRAW_Studio/

I did install 1.81 and it unfortunatelly broke thumbnails.
Reverted to 1.61.
Unless with your plugin there is no need any more for the bm raw installer in order to have windows thumbnails.
Is that the case?

Our BRAW Studio installer is able to install the Blackmagic RAW Player v1.8.1 and the thumbnails. This issue is unrelated to our plugin BRAW Studio.

i had the same Problem since long time. I solved it!

My way was:
==================
1. I Uninstalled BRAW SDK from my Windows 10 Maschine.
2. In reg editor i removed my file extentions by hand in HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT (the whole Folder)
3. I restarted my explorer.exe
4. I reinstalled the latest (2.1) RAW SDK


In the past nothing worked, now with the new Release of 2.1 i thought i must find the issue and fix it

Could you explain to me in details the No2 line, about the regedit please? Wich folder, what extensions? WHat path in the Regedit? Sorry im a little bit uncomfortable in the Regedit section of windows. Many many thanks in advance!

Windows Key + R -> enter "regedit" -> Enter key. Google regedit stuff it is well explained online
