Blackmagic 11.5.1 SDK and Desktop software issue

This is related to the same issue found in -

When trying to install the debs (namely desktopvideo_11.5.1a14_amd64.deb), we run into the same make error -

Consult /var/lib/dkms/blackmagic/11.5.1a14/build/make.log for more information.

It is understood that there is an unofficial workaround for this issue, but can we get an update from Blackmagic acknowledging this bug and an idea as to when a fix for this kernel will be released?

Just a heads up, Desktop Video 11.6 is now available for download on the support section. It should resolved the 5.6 Kernel issue.
