Accessing BRAW camera FPS metadata outside of Resolve

PostMon Jul 27, 2020 12:39 pm

Hi guys and gals,
Can anyone tell me if it's at all possible to access the original camera FPS outside of Resolve?
This "Camera FPS" section in Resolve's Metadata/Camera panel shows the recorded frame rate, as opposed to the conformed frame rate.

So, in the case of a 120fps clip, it would show 120fps rather than the conformed FPS of 25fps.

This would be really useful for an app that we're currently working which works closely with BRAW files.

Image for reference (couldn't upload to the board).

Hi Charles,
Sure, there is a C++ SDK where you can do that. Unless you mean you have a mobile app so you would need a SDK for Android and iOS ?
BRAW Studio FREE and Premium for Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a brand new Desktop .BRAW Player and Color Grader, as well as an automatic White Balance Color Picker tool
