Is there a way to save your subtitle track styles?

PostThu Feb 18, 2021 12:57 pm

Hello.

Is there a way to save your subtitle track styles?
I usually edit an entire commercial campaign in one project so this means i have multiple timelines that need subtitles. As i copy those subtitles from one timeline to another I will always need to set the track style from scratch. As you can imagine this a use hassle when you have 15+ timelines.

So is there a way to save these?

Cheers,
Marco

Nope. The only way is to create an empty timeline, set the subtitle track style, then duplicate the timeline as many times as you need ...

Hello everyone,

I am very happy we can edit the track style for subtitles, but I can't find out how to save the style I prepared in order to load it later into a next new project (if I understand correctly starfish's last post, this should be possible with DVR 18.1, I have 18.1.2 build 6).

Can someone please indicate me how to do? Thanks lot in advance!

In the Subtitle Panel's (three dot) options menu you will see an option to 'Save Track as Preset...'

Hi Andy,

that's very clear now!

I oversaw those dots and was looking for an option directly into on the track tab of the inspector.
THANK YOU very much :-)

Have a nice day!
Kind greetings
