MiniRecorder WHEA-logger errors.

PostTue Dec 28, 2021 9:20 am

Hi, I have a lot of WHEA errors with a DeckLink Mini Recorder. The OS in Windows 10 2004 build 19041.1348 with ONLY OEM drivers loaded. The DeckLink Mini Recorder has the latest driver, version 12.2 as of 18 October 2021 and is installed on a SuperMicro C7H270-CG-ML. Same errors on another Motherboard, a SuperMicro C7B360-CB-MW with same configuration of OS, BM drivers and card. The bigger problem is that, after a random amount of time, the system freezes and only an hw reset resolve. Events in the System log of event viewer are logged in a number of more than 20 events at the same time (!). The error reported is:

WHEA-Logger Event ID 17
A corrected hardware error has occurred.
Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)
Primary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1C:0x0
Secondary Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x0:0x0
Primary Device Name:PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A292&SUBSYS_094415D9&REV_F0

The PCI Express Root Port is the one with the MiniRecorder inserted.
Can someone help me? Any suggestions?
I've provided an HTML HWiNFO report of two systems affected.
