12K raw mosaic

Hi,

I understand that braw splits the demosaicking/debayering between the camera and the raw software, and at the time of braw release (2019?) there was no way to access the raw mosaic data. Is the raw mosaic still unavailable?

Our company has developed RGBW demosaicking algorithms for the smartphone industry that we now want to use to qualify the Ursa Mini Pro 12K for a high resolution application. We need the RGBW raw mosaic for this purpose.

CaptainHook can hopefully give you clear answer but afaik you can’t access raw bayer data because it isn’t there, it is already debayered one way or another before storing data to braw container. Otherwise it would invalidate RED patent.
