Saving and restoring the Videohub state from file

PostSat Aug 27, 2022 7:34 am

I have created a Python script which could save to file and restore from file the Blackmagic Videohub crosspoint state. However, due to certain circumstances, I'm not able to fully test and debug it on the Videohub I've access to. I'd encourage Python enthusiasts who have Videohub in their access, to help me with debugging and perhaps committing to that project. You may freely use this code as long you don't earn any money from it.

Script features:
  • GUI interface (tkinter)
  • Dynamic router size, read either from file or from router, no need to enter it manually
  • Max router size 256x256
  • Read from file, save to file
  • Automatic file name suggestion according to date and time
  • Router size and access address saved to file along with all the crosspoints
  • All the router crosspoints displayed in the textbox
  • Command line window with timestamps and lot of debug information
