DeckLink 8K Pro 12G to SmartView 4K UHD bmdFormat12BitRGBLE

Hi all,

I have a DeckLink 8K Pro connected via 12G SDI cable to a SmartView 4K.

When outputting a UHD bmdFormat12BitRGBLE signal, the SmartView 4K shows weird colors.

In HD resolution bmdFormat12BitRGBLE works fine.

This can be reproduced with SignalGenHDR sample code (on macOS).

Is this a (known) DeckLink 8K Pro or SmartView 4K issue?

I've never been able to get any BMD gear to work with UHD 12bit444 RGB content, even if it is output/input via appropriate BMD gear itself.

For UHD, 12G is saturated at 10 bit 4:2:2. For UHD 12bit or RGB you need dual link SDI.
