How to know what is sync input is?

Is there anyway to read the sync input on the duo (or any other card)? I know the primary reason to have it is to genlock the card to external reference, but it would be handy to be able to get the reference information. Sort of like a LM1881 or a LMH1980. The first one takes analog sync or analog video and you can get a frame pulse and a field indicator. The seconds one takes the above as well as tri-level and gives you the same info. Since the duo is in our computers, it would save us another card if we could just get it from you.

thanks

Hi Hemendra,

Can you please elaborate on how you intend to use these outputs. Is it to detect the video mode of reference or to measure sync period, or for another purpose?

Regards
Cameron

Hi Cameron Nichols,

We have sync gennerator and DeckLink SDI 4K. We want to acquire the synchronization signal transmitted by sync gennerator to DeckLink SDI 4K genlock in the SDK package of DeckLink SDI 4K, and control the external synchronization object through SDK secondary development. How should we build the environment and whether there are relevant examples for reference?

thanks
