Can' see some ports after Windows Update

PostThu Sep 12, 2019 4:29 pm

Hi,

I am trying to build a capture module using Blackmagic Decklink SDK 11.2. I am using Decklink Duo 2, it has 4 ports, and I was able to use these 4 ports but after my computer updated itself. I can see just 2 port of the device in Blackmagic Media Express. So I cannot see 3rd and 4th ports of the device. My operating system is Windows 10. Do you have any suggestions for this situation.

Did you reboot the Machine?? This is crucial!!

Did you get a POPUP saying Firmware update needed?
If not. Hit CTRL ALT DEL > Task Manager >
find the Processes :: Blackmagic Software Updater And DesktopVideoUpdater..
Restart those processes because it will trigger an Updater. Which needs to update the firmware in the card to the same version as the software,. ;)

Or the device has been set back to a pair of Key & Fill outputs.
In desktop video, select the first one and check the Connectors Tab that it is only assigned to one of the SDI outputs, not 1 & 2.
