Blackmagic Design today announced that Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K LF digital film camera captured Sunsilk Cambodia’s first ever music video style commercial. Conceived by advertising agency Havas Cambodia for its client Unilever Cambodia, the shampoo campaign marks a major shift in advertising with a format that’s not typical for beauty brands in Cambodia.
“Sunsilk gave us space to push creative boundaries and experiment with a trend forward, Gen Z music video,” noted Christian Tadle, Senior Account Director, Havas Cambodia. “It had to feel authentic, stylish, and full of personality, like something you'd stream and share. Sunsilk consumers are evolving, and we positioned Sunsilk as more than just a beauty product; it’s a confidant and a cheerleader, growing alongside its customers.”
As a celebration of confidence, the “Team Black and Pink” music video features Cambodian pop stars Mina and SK performing upbeat dance sequences across rooftops, playgrounds, and an indoor setup. Meant to inspire young women, the empowering message is wrapped in a catchy, vibrant music video, with the URSA Cine 12K LF’s image quality, color science, dymanic range, and large format sensor key to achieving the desired aesthetic.
