Medialooks has released Direct Take, a free end user app for capture and playback.
Inspired by Blackmagic Design's Media Express, the app supports an unlimited number of devices on capture and playout and plays out/captures to a large number of containers and compression formats.
It also includes optional CG with an integrated visual editor (beta). The product is Windows only for now.
