Blackmagic Design Used for WANIMA’s Live Streaming

PostMon Nov 30, 2020 9:25 pm

Blackmagic Design announced today that a number of Blackmagic products, including 24 Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4Ks and an ATEM Constellation 8K, were used to stream a live performance by popular Japanese band, WANIMA.

The “no audience” streaming concert was held at Japan’s ZOZO Marine Stadium and was captured and streamed live to more than 100,000 fans using a new live production system named “soundiv” that was built around Blackmagic Design cameras, switchers, routers and recorders.

WANIMA’s “COMINATCHA Tour,” which started last November to match the release of their new album, had been extremely successful. However, due to the national stay at home order, many of the shows originally planned had to be cancelled. While uncertainty did not allow the band to hold large scale concerts, WANIMA decided to have hold a streamed concert at ZOZO Marine Stadium, where they had planned to have their tour final concert.
