Blackmagic Design today announced the Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P, the first Ethernet switch designed specifically for the film and television industry! This high performance plus low latency Ethernet solution also features 16 fast 10G Ethernet ports, 2 extremely high speed 100G Ethernet ports, and rear Ethernet connections for better cable management. This simple plug and play solution that operates within the 2110 IP video workflow has everything needed for film and television work! Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P will be available in July from Blackmagic Design resellers worldwide for US$2,895.
The Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P will be demonstrated on the Blackmagic Design NAB 2024 booth #SL5005.
The Blackmagic Ethernet Switch 360P has been designed specifically for the television industry! This means all network connections are on the rear, which is the same side as the network ports on customers’ broadcast equipment. This makes connecting network cables simple! Standard data switches have their connections on the front which means the cabling becomes a total mess. If customers mount data switches on the rear their data cables are not secure.
