Blackmagic today announced that entrepreneur and digital media creator Nagier Chambers used Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K and Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 digital film cameras at the recent Golden Globe Awards and Astra Film Awards. Shooting in full frame for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, Chambers captured the action at the award ceremony red carpet events.
Chambers is owner and founder of Big Gold Belt Media and host of the Big Gold Belt wrestling championship. Big Gold Belt Media is a news, film and podcast outlet and production company focusing on television, film and pop culture from the perspective of people of color, striving to highlight minorities in these spaces.
Chambers and his crew of filmmakers and podcasters have created hundreds of hours of videos covering everything from WWE matches to the latest films and TV shows. One of his most memorable moments so far has been shooting “Grey’s Anatomy” star Ellen Pompeo during her Disney Legends handprint ceremony.
