Blackmagic Design announced today that Kansai TV is using DaVinci Resolve Studio editing, grading, visual effects (VFX) and audio post production software and Blackmagic Cloud in its post production workflow.
Kansai TV broadcasts television programs in the Kinki region in Japan, producing a variety of programs including news, informational programming, variety shows, TV dramas, and sports programming. The company has incorporated DaVinci Resolve Studio and Blackmagic Cloud services into the workflow for one of its informational programs.
"We have been able to produce projects using other solutions, but it was quite expensive. While looking for a more affordable option, we found out that Blackmagic Cloud is available for less than 800 yen (US$5) per month, so we signed up," said Editor Yoshiyuki Shimizu of Kansai TV.
