12G-SDI up and down conversion with Teranex Express

Blackmagic Design today announced Teranex Express, the world’s first 12G-SDI broadcast up and down converter for SD, HD and Ultra HD, with world renowned Teranex image processing quality for $1,395.

Teranex Express provides multi rate 12G-SDI connections fast enough to support progressive Ultra HD video at up to 60fps. It features advanced patented Teranex algorithms for visually transparent quality conversions and includes 178 different SD, HD and Ultra HD up and down conversions, complete with audio, closed captions and timecode.

Teranex Express will be demonstrated on the Blackmagic Design NAB 2014 booth at #SL219.

Looks very interesting.

One thing I couldn't find anywhere on the product site. (And I believe the manual is not online yet.)

Does this model do the same Noise Reduction the other two do?
