Migrate Sound Uses DaVinci Resolve Studio for Audio Post

PostFri May 30, 2025 3:03 pm

Blackmagic Design today announced that Migrate Sound used DaVinci Resolve Studio’s Fairlight audio post production suite for FOX’s February sweeps promos, creating radio spots for shows such as “The Masked Singer,” “The Floor,” “Next Level Chef,” “9-1-1: Lone Star,” “Special Forces: World's Toughest Test,” “Extracted,” “LEGO Masters,” and more.

Helmed by bilingual French American sound designer Laurent Jouvin, the Santa Clarita, CA based recording and audio post production studio specializes in audio recording, including voiceover, dialogue, group, sound effects, sound designing and mixing, remote and on the go (OTG) recording, mix to picture (stereo and surround), copywriting, translation and adaptation. Having used Fairlight since 1996, Jouvin recently completed a major studio upgrade, which included migrating to DaVinci Resolve Studio and implementing the Fairlight Desktop Audio Editor and Fairlight Console Channel Fader.

With clients ranging from TV and streaming networks to movie studios and advertising agencies, the majority of Jouvin’s projects entail radio promos for the likes of FOX, Amazon Prime, Hallmark and Audible.
