Blackmagic Design Powers OB Van for Motorsport Broadcast
Posted: Tue Sep 02, 2025 1:26 pmBlackmagic Design today announced that French production company Léni has built a new outside broadcast (OB) van to support regional motorsport series across Europe, featuring Blackmagic URSA Broadcast G2 cameras, ATEM Constellation 8K for live switching, and integrated replay and post with DaVinci Resolve Studio.
The vehicle was developed in collaboration with APR, a motorsport event organizer, to provide a scalable, cost effective solution for live sports broadcasting. Featuring up to 16 cameras and 11 workstations, the system supports live production, commentary and editorial under one roof.
“Three years ago, we were turning up to events with a trailer that couldn’t meet our needs,” said Evens Adras, project director at Léni. “With APR’s support, we have designed a solution tailored to the reality of regional motorsport—tight timelines, changing environments and modest budgets.”
