cmiVFX, longtime Fusion partner and maker of the first Fusion training video ever, is creating new Fusion training videos in celebration of Blackmagic Design’s recent release of the free version of Fusion. In the latest video, mentor Terry Riyasat will walk you through the process of creating a futuristic Heads Up Display (HUD) in Blackmagic's Fusion.
Start by looking at a few references and creating elements for the base. Then learn how to create effects with Replicate 3D, do some grading, create an overlay and add some finishing touches to the HUD. Then do a render and review the final output. By the end of the video you'll have a solid understanding of how to create your own HUD in the future.
