In an era when people buy songs with lyrics like "call me on your cell phone", or with a copy cat "goat boy" like vocal effect gimmick, it's nice to reminisce about when a song's lyrics told a story with deep feeling.

In those days they wouldn't sign an artist if he didn't have a unique sound that contributed to the richness of our culture.
