Fun: Sonic de Hedge Hog.

PostWed Jul 15, 2020 6:14 am

Finally got to see my first movie in the cinemas in around 6 months. No, not the story of a slick greedy hedge fund manager nick named Sonic, but a mixed reality flick based on the Sega video game character, Sonic, from the 1980's.

Now, I am not normally interested in films based on video game chacters, but seeing the preview, I could see this one had something. I was right, great movie. Jim Carry tried hard to play it 1980's style (his style) which was good, but the Sonic character construct and personality mannerisms, were great. Story line was probably great for a 1980's movie. 'Oh, you need to get to LA urgently, to get your stuff. Why don't you run there. You can follow the signs. No need for a road trip. Oh, by the way, how come your shoes and clothes dont fly apart running super sonic.' About the pace the main character talks at.

The three extras at the end were a nice touch.

Better than watching Netflix, despite how great the Eurovision comedy was.
